“Euphoria” actor Angus Cloud died at the family home in Oakland, California, on July 31.
The 25-year-old actor was previously grieving the loss of his father, who died a week earlier. His mother, Lisa Cloud, previously stated that her son had no intention of taking his own life.
Now, he’s revealing details about his last conversation with Cloud.

Angus Cloud told his mother that he loved her and would “see her in the morning” the night she died.
“I love you mom. You’re the best,” Lisa Cloud, the late actor’s mother, told People Magazine about what her son told her the night he died. “I’ll see you in the morning.”
“She is very beautiful and creative,” he continued. “He loves his house, and he loves this little room.” Lisa pointed to a wooden table splattered with paint reminiscent of Jackson Pollock. He paused and shook his head, his voice getting sadder: “This is where my son died.”
On July 31, his mother found Angus Cloud in a chair sitting on top of his desk. “I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor. I tried to revive him – mouth to mouth – and I gave him compressions,” she said through sobs. “I screamed for my neighbor because I didn’t want to leave her and called 911, and I kept doing it until they took her away.” She wiped away tears. . “I miss him so much. He was the love of my life.”
Angus Cloud Died of Accidental Overdose

The Alameda County Coroner confirmed Cloud suffered acute intoxication from an accidental overdose. Fentanyl, benzodiazepines, cocaine, and methamphetamine were found in his system.
“It was mostly a central nervous system depressant. It started to slow his heart and slow his breathing,” explained Lisa. “He was exhausted from the lack of oxygen. Everything slowed down, and eventually, his heart stopped, and he fell asleep. But he didn’t kill himself .”
She added, “She came out with her strength, her total beauty, her total influence, and the reaction that everyone had really touched my heart. You know, she’s not just an actor who overdosed. She was a beautiful soul, so people miss her a lot.”
Cloud’s family announced his passing saying, “It is with heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to an extraordinary human being today. As an artist, friend, brother and son, Angus was special to us in so many ways. Last week, he buried his father and is struggling with this loss.”
The message continued, “The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his struggles with mental health, and we hope his passing will remind others that they are not alone and should not fight it alone in silence. We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy now as we still process this terrible loss.”
