Swift’s title track on her tenth album kicks the LP off with a bang; the opening lyrics invite fans to “meet [her] at midnight.” Two and a half months after “Midnights” was released, these late night meetings aren’t ending anytime soon!
Swift, 33, who has broken all kinds of records with “Midnights” in the short time since its release, posted a lavender-themed message on her social media account on Thursday.
Unlike most of her announcements, the “Bejeweled” singer wasn’t subtle with her message, and likely didn’t reveal any secret easter eggs (that we know of!!!)

He announced the premiere of the “Lavender Haze” music video, revealing it would be released at midnight on Friday morning. Swift shared her announcement on Twitter and Instagram. For her Instagram post, she shared a snippet of the song’s opening lyrics in one post, featuring what appears to be a shot from the music video. Swift can sit on the bed, covered with a lavender sheet. Eagle-eyed fans may spot a purple carpet on the floor, displaying what appears to be several vinyl records lying on top.
“Meet me at midnight…. for the ‘Lavender Haze’ music video premiere (!!!!!!!!!!!)” Swift’s caption read. She even posted it on her Instagram story, minus the caption, which gave her a bit of Swift’s quirkiness!
“Lavender Haze” will be the third music video from “Midnights” to be released so far.
