Adrienne Bailon has brought her baby boy, Ever James Houghton, home for the first time since she welcomed him.
The television personality and her husband, Israel Houghton, shocked the world when they announced via social media that they welcomed their first child together via surrogate. Unfortunately, the sweet boy still hasn’t come home yet, and his mom celebrated the milestone with an Instagram reel.

The reel begins with Bailon holding the boy, who appears to be sleeping in his arms as he talks to the camera. He said:
“Okay, so, we just got home. And it’s the first time Ever’s come home. And I’m like ‘boy, wake up. It’s your first time home. Are you ready to see your house where you live?’ We’re traveling all over the country. You’ve been to many states, and now it’s time for you to go home.”
Subsequent shots show Ever enjoying a hug with different members of his extended family, including Bailon’s sister-in-law Mariah. The clip is sweet and emotional thanks to Houghton and New Breed singing the lyrics to their song, “Feels Like Home,” in the background.

The emotional aspect earned the video over 700k views, 95k+ likes and 1k+ comments, including some from verified Instagram users and celebrities. While former “The Real” co-host Tamera Mowry could only express her feelings with a series of tearful emojis, stylist Emily B said the clip was “so sweet.”
Ever’s dad even got into the comments to say, “Omg. He’s so cute.” Khloe Kardashian denied she cried, and one fan added, “thank you for bringing smiles to so many people bc we know how much you deserve [SIC] this blessing!!”

That blessing may have something to do with Bailon and Houghton being able to give birth at home, giving them the support of the former’s sister and mother. Earlier this month, The Blast reported that the former member of The Cheetah Girls revealed:
“Obviously, with the COVID protocols and all those kinds of things, you’re limited to how many people can be in a room. [at a hospital]. With a home birth, you don’t have those limitations.”
In addition to Ever meeting his grandmother, aunt and half-sister — from the Houghton side- Bailon was allowed immediate skin-to-skin contact upon his arrival.

A few days after she welcomed her baby boy, Bailon got a tattoo to commemorate it. Per The Blast, the Daytime Emmy Award winner initially showed off her newly tattooed hand, her son’s name emblazoned under her ring-adorned little finger, with a photo on her Instagram Story.
Although his face was left out of the update, the 38-year-old appeared to be buttoning up his shirt, putting his tattooed hand in full view. The mother of one made another post about her son, including herself and the little one’s sweater-covered hands. Bailon wears a white camisole and matching button-up shirt as she hugs Ever, covered with a blanket.

The next image of the “Empire Girls: Julissa and Adrienne” star includes a Styrofoam cup with “Beverly Hills 90210” and “Houghton” printed on it. There is also an indication that the container is recyclable.
In addition, Bailon has written “Ever’s Mami” on the side of the cup, expressing her pride as a first-time mother to the world. When Ever arrived, her parents released a joint Instagram statement to announce and welcome her into their lives. Along with a picture of her mother hugging her while her father hugs them from behind, they wrote:

The couple went on to reveal that they’ve been “carrying this most beautiful secret for the past nine months,” adding that the newborn was worth “every tear, every disappointment, every delayed prayer, every IVF cycle, every miscarriage. “
They ended the statement by appreciating God, surrogates, and family and friends who supported them throughout their five-year journey to parenthood.
