During an interview with Nancy O’Dell on “TalkShopLive,” the 41-year-old singer shared her heartfelt reasons for moving, stressing the need for change for herself and her two children, Remington “Remy” Alexander, age 7, and River Rose, age 8 year.

The pop star said, per People magazine, “Obviously, we’ve been very successful, and I love everyone who works with me, and we have such a great relationship. So I talked to them because I said, ‘Guys, I need you to know what’s going on.” He added, “Either I’m not going to be able to go on the show, or I’m going to have to go to the East Coast.”
He continued, “Covid insists [that] isolated and away from your family [is] not good for anyone. And my family is East Coast — they’re based in North Carolina. So it’s one of those things that I have to do – there’s also a lot of personal stuff going on.”
