The legacy of “Titanic” is getting bigger!
The film, which returned to theaters nearly a decade ago in 3D, will once again sail in 3D, but will be shown in 3D 4K HDR at a high frame rate, according to People.
The film’s 25th anniversary release won’t end with just a memorable theatrical upgrade. The film’s iconic poster has been given a makeover and fans can treat themselves to a new 25th anniversary edition trailer ahead of its February 10 release!
The film’s 25th anniversary trailer was uploaded to YouTube by the official Paramount Pictures account earlier on Tuesday.
“The goosebumps I got from watching this trailer,” one fan commented on the trailer, “I’ve seen this movie a million times in my life and it always amazes me. Can’t wait to see this on the big screen”
Another excited fan is looking forward to their first experience seeing “Titanic” on the big screen!
“For someone who has never had the chance to see this movie in the cinema, this is great. I can’t wait to watch this in the best possible way.” They also commented on the YouTube upload of the trailer.

News of the return of “Titanic” to the big screen was enthusiastically received by Twitter fans!
On the official Twitter account for Paramount Pictures and the film, potential moviegoers tweeted, “I have seen this movie many times, but not enough in a few years and never on the big screen. I might go and see this.”
“Having to watch Jack die in 4k is crazy,” another fan tweeted.
“I was a huge fan in 2014. Watched it every day. My whole life is about the Titanic,” a “Titanic” devotee. tweeted, “I’m only 13 years old. I was too young to experience it in 1997 or 2012 (didn’t know titanic in 2012), I waited nine years for this moment, I couldn’t be happier!! I hope I get a seat.”
“James Cameron said, my film is not finished at the box office.” This is going to be a Titanic sweep,” another fan tweeted.
“I don’t care what people say- even in 4k and 3D… there’s no room for Jack in that door,” one fan pointed out.
Cameron recently took steps to end the famous and ongoing debate over whether both Rose and Jack could fit together in the door after the shipwreck: it proved impossible for two people to survive in the door, Cameron recently told The Toronto Sun via NPR. He also hinted that fans will hear more about the study next month.
“I saw this movie in theaters SEVEN times and wore my double-VHS box set. But I can’t see this rebroadcast because I can’t see 3D,” one fan said tweeted“It just gives me a migraine.”
