The NBA player received an outpouring of social media love from his (almost) mother-in-law, Kris Jenner.

The parents of the Kardashian-Jenner family couldn’t help themselves in a series of Instagram Stories.
“Happy Birthday, Tristan! I know this year has been tough so far. But you seem to find positivity and light amidst the sadness,” his first IG Story read.

She shared several photos of Tristan with her and Khloe’s daughter, True Thompson.
“You see the glass as half full and it’s been amazing watching you grow as a father, a friend, a brother, an uncle and a son,” Jenner continued. “You have used this challenge as an opportunity to improve yourself day by day.”

As you may recall, Thompson was very adulterous while dating Khloe and was caught cheating on her several times.
But despite treating her like trash, the amazing momager seems to have forgotten or noticed.
“And I know how proud your mother is of the man you have become. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for that, and for being a part of our special family,” added Jenner.
He ended his overly affectionate “Tristan Thompson anthology” with, “We love you so much.”

Kris tagged Khloe in every slide related to TT’s birthday, but didn’t share any photos of KK and TT together.
The couple separated, but they continued to co-parent their two children.

According to an Entertainment Tonight reports, the NBA star wants to repent of his cheating sin and become a better person.
Khloe has been by his side since his mother passed away last January. She has been his “support system” during this difficult time.

Thompson’s younger brother, Amari Thompson, suffers from epilepsy, and Khloe promised Andrea that she would take care of her youngest.
A source disclosed to ET“Khloe is very conscious of making sure Tristan and his siblings don’t feel alone.”
“Tristan wants to show the world, Khloe, and his mom — his guardian angel — the man and father he can be, even more so now,” the source added.
On her 30th birthday, TT had a one night stand with Maralee Nichols and ended up getting her pregnant.

He became an absentee father to his third child and second child, Theo, since his birth in December 2021.
The explosive paternity scandal occurred in November of that year, and the reality TV star promptly split with the NBA player.
Tristan originally denied being the father of Nichols’ baby, but a paternity test proved him very wrong.
He went on to issue a lengthy apology to friends, family, fans and Khloe.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Tristan wrote. “Now that paternity has been established, I hope to raise our child well. I sincerely apologize to everyone I have hurt or disappointed during this test, both publicly and privately.”
“Khloé, you don’t deserve this,” he said. “You don’t deserve the hurt and humiliation I did to you. You don’t deserve the way I treated you all this time. My actions are definitely not in line with the way I view you.”
He added, “I have a lot of respect and love for you. It doesn’t matter what you think.”
