Not only did the Grammy nominee use a touching video and song to express his love for his wife, but he also wrote the most beautiful message in the caption that read:

“10 years with my best friend @laur_akins, sometimes I don’t know if you’re real or an Angel. I couldn’t dream of a better life if I tried.”

He went on to appreciate their journey of marriage and parenthood with the words: “10 years and 4 kids later, I love you more every day. I love you so much! Happy birthday my love.”

The video begins with the kiss they shared at their wedding and leads into their wedding dance, where a beaming Thomas twirls Lauren around. There is also a close-up of the 32-year-old author sipping a drink through a straw and another laughing and chewing.

As for the unreleased soundtrack added to the clip and titled “Madly in Love,” part of the lyrics sing, “It was just the beginning – And to this day, when you walk into the room – My heart still doesn’t know what it’s supposed to do – And in my mind, girl, we’re still 22, in the fields of Tennessee – Fireflies brighter than the moon.”

The beautiful piece isn’t the first Thomas has done in tribute to his beloved partner as he previously did so with his award-winning single “Die a Happy Man.” CountryLiving shared that the chart-topper highlights a narrative about a man’s desire for nothing more than his woman’s “crazy love.”

Another memorable creation inspired by the two’s tumultuous love story is “Marry Me”, a track from the Billboard Music Awards-nominated album “Life Changes”.

Fans may be aware that Thomas and Lauren had their first shot at romance during their early teens; however, the relationship did not work out, but they remained good friends. They later became involved with a separate couple that almost led to marriage until the podcaster’s father intervened, urging Thomas to tell his daughter how he felt; otherwise, he will do it himself.

The “It Goes Like This” star did as she was told shortly after Lauren ended her previous relationship. They kissed later, after which they dated for about six months before getting engaged. “Crash and Burn” Vocalist Reveals Plans To Have Baby Number Five With Wife

Despite being married for a decade with four children, the cute couple are still looking to expand their family with a fifth child. Thomas revealed this in an interview on the “Making Space With Hoda Kotb” podcast, which The Blast reported in April. He said:

“Lauren’s whole dream [is that] she wants to have five children. Since the day we got married, he [been] like, ‘I want to have five,’ and I’m sitting there going, ‘Okay, you know, that would be great.”

Even so, the couple plans to take a four-year hiatus before expanding to focus more on caring for their baby on purpose. The “Star of the Show” singer believes having four children under the age of six at the time required more attention, so they needed a break to “figure it all out.
