Tia Mowry shares some self-care tips for the holidays!
Since announcing her divorce from Cory Hardrict last month, the actress has been getting serious about doing what makes her happy. The “Kakak, Kakak” alum has also shared this helpful content with millions of fans. The star did so again recently by detailing her steps to maintain self-care during the festive season.
Tia Mowry Puts Herself First With These Self-Care Tips
After thinking about how quickly this year has moved, Mowry said, “I just wanted to talk to you about how I intend to keep up my self-care practices throughout the holidays. I love spending quality time with my family, but for me to fully show people around me that I love, I have to show myself too.”
To that end, the “Detention” actor says he’ll be doing a “careful exercise” that includes neighborhood walks, ten-minute meditations in the morning and at night, long showers and prayers.
Mowry adds, “Carving out at least 30 minutes of my time throughout the day helps me feel calm and peaceful, which is something I can lean on. It helps maintain a sense of routine that is very important to me.”
The “Bratz Go to Paris: The Movie” cast ended the clip by posing a question to the audience. He asks them to tell him how they plan to maintain their self-care during the holidays.
Mowry’s update comes nearly two weeks after the mother of two updated her followers on her morning routine. In a reel she shared on Instagram, the “Twitches” star started her day with a confirmation card she picked from a deck on her desk.
Next, he went into the bathroom, where he shaved his legs with a razor and washed his hair. She then went into her closet, put on an orange sweatshirt and pants combo, and styled her wet hair.
Mowry made a cup of tea, which he took to the pool area to do some work. His adorable daughter, Cairo, soon joined him — the little one was sent off with a kiss on the cheek. According to The Blast, the 44-year-old wrote in part under the video:
“With a new chapter comes anxiety, uncertainty, and fear. Having a routine helps me clear my mind and hit the reset button.”
The former ‘Voice’ member explained that her morning routine is about “finding a ritual” that reminds her that pouring into her cup helps her feel “more grounded,” especially while navigating “this new chapter in my life.”
The “True Colors” guest star added that it’s easier for her to practice “daily gratitude, be more productive and focused” and become a “better version” of herself when she can “enjoy a slow start.” Fans were quick to tell him in the comments that his words resonated with them.

The Blast reports that Tamera opened up about her twin sister’s healing following her breakup with Hardrict. The “Home & Family” star addressed the issue during an interview that saw him recount his conversation with Tia. He said:
“I told her, I said, ‘Tia, I was looking on your Instagram; this is the happiest you’ve been in a long time. You are glowing! You look different, but in a very positive way!’”
Explaining the possible reason for the glow, the former “The Real” co-host added, “I think it’s because — no, I know it’s because she’s living her authentic, real self, and I think that’s what everybody should do. And it’s not easy! That’s the thing; it’s scary.”
The “Rosie” actress later expressed her support for her sister, saying, “I told her, ‘I’m so proud of you for showing other women — and hell, even men — that you walk in your truth, and look what happens. Whatever happens.”
Tamera also paid tribute to her twins, who she claimed were “very, very strong and inspiring.” The former singer previously showed support for her sister during a “Today with Hoda & Jenna” appearance.
When one of the show’s hosts veered off topic and tried to get information about Tia’s divorce, Tamera responded, “Whatever she wants, the Mowrys will support her.”
