Haddish didn’t get away with her latest DUI arrest. Last month, the comedian was arrested after Beverly Hills police received a phone call about someone sleeping behind the wheel of their car while it was still running in the middle of the road.

Court documents show that the comedian has officially been charged with “driving under the influence of alcohol” and “driving With .08% Blood Alcohol Content.” If convicted, Haddish faces a mandatory prison sentence of up to four days.

The incident happened in November after his performance at the Laugh Factory. Although she was not involved in the accident, an individual called police around 5:45 a.m. to report the incident, as Haddish’s car was spotted stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive.

This isn’t Haddish’s first DUI charge, as she found herself in a similar situation last year in January in Atlanta. Around that time, Peachtree City police also reportedly received a phone call about someone being seen sleeping in their car.

Upon arriving at the location, police found Haddish driving into the neighborhood. He was charged with DUI and improper stop on the road.

Days after her arrest in November, Haddish revealed her plans to get help. While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, he revealed his intentions while discussing his Thanksgiving vacation at the time. Haddish told the publication that she was feeding the underprivileged at The Laugh Factory before starting her Holiday Special.

While the Girls Trip star didn’t directly mention her DUI arrest, she did ET that he “will get help so that [she] can learn balance and boundaries.”

After she promised to turn over a new leaf and get help for her problems, Haddish marked her 44th birthday with a spectacular performance. Taking to Instagram, Haddish shared a clip of herself performing one of her comedy songs to an audience while wearing a blush red dress.

In the caption of the post, Haddish said, “Happy Birthday to me !!!!!. I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. I have more music and Other Books to come and I can’t wait to share with the world all the work I’ve been doing for My Family and All My Real Unicorns.”

He thanked the band and organizers who helped him organize his birthday show. Haddish also expressed her gratitude to the “beautiful woman in Eritrea” who created her dress, adding, “I wish I could remember your name.”

Haddish ended her post by saying, “I keep my promise, anyone who knows me knows that. It may take some time, but I always keep my promises. Just ask God.”
