Tiger Woods has come out on top in the ongoing lawsuit filed against him by his ex-girlfriend, Erica Herman.
The professional golfer and his ex went from love to legal action after the latter filed a lawsuit in October 2022, alleging his former lover tricked him into leaving his home after they split earlier that year.
She also filed a separate document earlier this year trying to void the nondisclosure agreement (NDA) Woods signed when the couple began their relationship in 2017. Although she used the Speak Out Act to defend her lawsuit, a Florida judge has now ruled that the former restaurant owner must comply with the agreement mentioned above.

Wednesday did not go the way Herman expected as Circuit Judge Elizabeth Metzger rejected his attempt to revoke the 2017 agreement alleging that Woods had sexually harassed him, in an 11-page opinion. While calling the restaurant’s claims “vague and unclear,” Metzger wrote:
“Herman had the opportunity (to) provide factual specificity for any claims related to sexual assault or sexual harassment, however, he did not do so.”

The judge noted that the evidence showed that an NDA had been negotiated between the former couple even though Herman’s attorney, Benjamin Hodas, had begun to question whether his client signed it. With this resolution, BBC news stated that the former manager of one of the athlete’s restaurants should settle the $30 million case from the public in private arbitration out of court.
Woods’ ex once claimed that she was locked out of the Hobe Sound, Florida home she shared with him after he was tricked into packing her bags for a supposed vacation. He declared through his suit that the 2019 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient promised that he could live in the property for 11 years.
Although the brunette is seeking payment for the cost of living in a similar luxury home in the area for six years, her former lover denies they have any rental agreement.
The father of two instead rejected the suit, calling it an “abuse of the judicial process.” The Blast shared that he revealed that the Santaluces High School alumnus was not entitled to use the Federal Speech Act in his second filing because there was no sexual assault.
Additionally, he implied Herman was a liar because he marked “NO” in response to a query that read, “Does this case involve allegations of sexual abuse” regarding his $30 million lawsuit. He believed that was sufficient reason for the court to dismiss the suit, allowing the plaintiffs to participate in private mediation as stipulated by their signed NDA.

News of Herman filing a new lawsuit accusing Woods of sexually harassing her broke earlier this month, with The Blast reporting that her attorney asserted in an accompanying document:
“Tiger Woods, an internationally renowned athlete and one of the most powerful figures in global sports, decided to pursue a sexual relationship with his employee, then – according to him – forced him to sign an NDA about it or be fired from his job. .”
The newspaper claims that the 15-time Major champion cheated Herman out of their shared home when he became “unsatisfied” with their “sexual relationship”. In fact, Hodas said that after the ESPY Award winner tricked her client into “leaving her house, locking her up, taking her cash, pets and personal property,” he tried to “strong-arm her into signing a different NDA.”
Woods was later accused of trying to “deny” the Palm Beach State College alumni “access to the courts and put this case into secret arbitration.” Keep in mind that things don’t always turn sour between estranged lovers.
Herman has bonded with the once-divorced athlete after he suffered multiple injuries in a severe 2021 crash, helping him through the months of physical therapy and rehabilitation he needs to get better.
They first met when she worked for him in 2016 and began dating in 2017. They appeared together at various golf events throughout their relationship, with the former Blue Martini VIP lounge manager hanging on to her man.
