American singer Tina Turner’s son Ronnie, who she shared with her ex-husband, Ike Turner, has died mysteriously. According to reports, paramedics pronounced him dead after a tip to police came in claiming he was having trouble breathing even after CPR was administered.

Ronnie appeared in the 1993 biopic “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” which was based on his mother’s real-life story. Before his departure, he was reportedly a real estate broker in addition to his music and acting career.

Turner, 83, took to her Instagram page to express her grief over the loss by posting a monochrome picture of herself covering her eyes.

“Ronnie, you left the world too soon. In sadness I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved child,” she captioned it. The cause of his death is still unknown, but reports state that he had been suffering from a number of health problems, including cancer.

His wife, French singer Afida Turner posted a tribute on her Instagram page and partially captioned it, “I did my best until this last time I couldn’t save you. I have loved you for 17 years, this is very very bad and I am very angry. This is your tragedy with your brother Craig and your father Ike Turner and Aline rest in heaven… So unfair.”

The deceased was 62 years old at the time of his passing. He is survived by his mother, Tina, and wife, Afida.

Turner had Craig when she was 18 with Raymond Hill, who played saxophone for the band the Rhythm Kings. She was adopted by Turner’s ex-husband, Ike Turner.

In an interview with BBCthe singer reportedly said he didn’t know what had left him on the sidelines at that stage, adding that the deceased was supposedly going to introduce his new partner to him.

The Queen of Rock’n’Roll then opened up about her conversation with him CBS News Gayle King a year later and claims she believes he took his own life because he was lonely.
