Suicide Attempt
First Suicide Attempt in 2021
On December 27, 2021, he attempted suicide by consuming poison; however, his neighbors found out and took him to the hospital where doctors were able to revive him. He said after recovering, he took extreme measures due to financial problems.
Second Suicide Attempt in 2023
On June 14, 2023, Tirthanand Rao attempted suicide by taking phenyl on a Facebook live stream. She said in a live broadcast that her life partner threatened her to file a false rape case against her. Some of his friends alerted the police who went to his flat, found him unconscious, and took him to hospital where doctors were able to save him. After recovery, he said that his live-in partner had two daughters, who lived with them. He later discovers that his partner is a prostitute as well because he wants to break up with her; however, he started threatening her because she had to sleep on the sidewalk as well. He said,
I owe Rs 3-4 lakh because of this woman. I have known him since October last year. He has filed a police complaint against me in Bhayandar and I don’t know why. Then he will also call me and say he wants to meet. I met a woman. He has two daughters. We also used to live together. During the relationship, I found out that she worked as a prostitute. I want to get rid of him. But, the woman started threatening me. Instead, he filed a case against me. Because of that fear, I ran away for a long time. I couldn’t go to my house for days and had to sleep on the sidewalk. I am fed up with this and that is the reason why I want to kill myself.”

- In 2016, famous Indian comedian Kapil Sharma offered him to work on The Kapil Sharma Show; however, he declined because he was working on a film at the time.
