Todd was sentenced to 12 years with 16 years of probation and will be incarcerated at the Pensacola Federal Prison Camp. His wife, Julie, received a much shorter sentence of seven years in prison with 16 years of supervised release. He will serve time at Marianna Federal Correctional Institution.

Despite the conviction and subsequent punishment, Todd and Julie remain innocent. They also revealed that they intend to appeal the sentence for a better result. After appearing in court and receiving their sentences in November, Alex Little of Burr & Forman LLP, their attorney, spoke to People’s Magazine.
Little claims that the court’s verdict on Todd and Julie was tainted by lies told to the jury. “Todd and Julie are people of faith, and that faith gives them strength as they plead their convictions,” the lawyer said.
“Their trial was marred by serious and repeated errors, including the government lying to the jury about the taxes the couple paid. Based on these issues, we are optimistic about the way forward,” continued Little.
