A 3-year-old boy who managed to slip past his parents and security has been caught on surveillance cameras riding a merry-go-round on a conveyor belt at an airport in Chile.
Footage captured the moment the little miscreant crept past the check-in counter at Chile’s Santiago International Airport on Nov. 16 and went on a merry-go-round that lasted several minutes before being caught, according to NewsFlare.

As the video plays, the bag is seen following the boy while another camera angle shows a conveyor belt tightly switching the 3-year-old into another lane.
That’s when airport workers appeared and saw the child wearing a seatbelt as an airport worker jumped on top of the machine to press a button that shortened the trip.
The airport claimed they did not know how the little man slipped past tight security, vowing they would “reinforce security measures and protocols with flight operators” to prevent such a thing from happening again.

“We are collecting all information to determine how this situation occurred and strengthening security measures and protocols with airline operators to prevent it from happening again, beyond the responsibility of parents and guardians for children in their care,” said an airport spokesperson. in a statement to the Chilean newspaper La Tercera.
Social media users on TikTok were hysterical with the little boy’s stunt which lasted just a few minutes on the conveyor belt.
“Honestly this little guy thought he found a magic tunnel lol ?, treasure awaits ?,” one user joked.
“He just wants to go home!” an avenger joked.
“15 [years old] and still wanna try this ??,” another funny answer read.
The little boy’s mischievous act follows a similar incident that happened in 2019 when another little boy was at an airport in Atlanta.
A 2-year-old boy was injured and taken to the hospital with a swollen and badly bruised hand when he ran away from his mother to approach a conveyor belt at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Airport footage showed the boy sneaking through the ticket counter and onto a conveyor belt when a bag pushed him into the machine, NBC News reported.
