Toni-Ann was born in 1996 (age 23 years; as in 2019), in Morant, Saint Thomas, a town in Jamaica. At the age of 9, Toni, along with her family, moved to Florida. He attended Palmetto Ridge High School and Naples Community School in Florida to finish his schooling. She attended Florida State University, Tallahassee to complete her studies in Women’s Studies and Psychology. He aspires to become a medical doctor.

Family
Toni-Ann Singh was born to Bradshaw Singh, who was of Indo-Caribbean descent. His mother is Jahrine Bailey-Singh of African-Caribbean descent. Toni is very close to her mother. He posted a photo with his mother on his Instagram, with the caption,
I am the product of many incredible sacrifices and this #WorthyWoman. For every hour (and there are many) spent in the car waiting for voice, piano or ballet classes to finish. For every lesson, it is taught and retaught. No thank you is great enough… this moment is ours. I love you, mom.”
After winning the title of Miss World 2019, she said,
My family being here is very important and their support motivates me to do my best. When dad came on stage to hug me, he accidentally dropped the crown, but that’s just dad.”
Career
Toni has worked as the President of the Caribbean student association on campus. The first pageant she participated in was for the Florida Caribbean Association in 2005. She participated in the 58th Miss Jamaica pageant in 2019. She won the pageant and was crowned Miss Jamaica 2019 on September 21, 2019, by Miss World Jamaica 2018, Kadijah Robinson .
Roshelle McKinley and Alanna Wanliss were first and second runners-up respectively.
Singh became the fourth contestant of Jamaican descent to win the title of Miss World 2019, which was held in London. The other three winners of the title were Carol Joan Crawford in 1962, Cindy Breakspear in 1976, and Lisa Hanna in 1993.
Miss France, Ophely Mezino and Miss India, Suman Rao won the second and third positions respectively in the competition.
In addition to winning the title, Toni also won the Talent Challenge, Best Personality and Most Photogenic awards in the contest.

Facts/Trivia
- Toni started singing in a local church when she was around 5 or 6 years old. At the age of 9, he took singing seriously, and later, joined music classes. She is a versatile opera singer. In an interview, he said,
I think there was a time when I (wanted to sing) when I really thought about what I wanted to do with my life – and that turned out to be serving people, and medicine, and helping people in my community. I didn’t delete it. If the door is open, why not?”
