While speculation about the cause of the clot around Kelly’s vital organs continues to permeate the air, an insider close to the Grammy award-winning singer confirmed TMZ that he was discharged on Monday, July 31. The “Do’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” singer was taken home to rest as she felt better after the ordeal.

The outlet’s source also claimed that while the 30-year-old will continue to undergo routine check-ups, being out of the intensive care unit and hospital is a “big step.” Her husband previously shared that they are waiting for more information from the medical team treating her at Sinai-Cedars.

Similarly, Kelly had written what appeared to be handwritten notes to fans while she was hospitalized, declaring her fear, sadness and hope for a full recovery. He had begun the long letter with the words:

“hey guys…as you may have heard, I am dealing with some unexpected health challenges. It’s been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you. I feel alienated now and hopeful but unfortunately there are still some things that need to be revealed.”

After expressing his gratitude “for the amazing doctors & nurses” who are dedicated to his recovery, the “Hallelujah” performer revealed that he will continue the production of his “Tori” EP on July 28.

The “Nobody Love” hitmaker explained that he did it because he wanted fans to “enjoy a project that represents the happy place” he’s been “in recent years.” Kelly closed her note with an assurance that she “will not let this obstacle stop the music” from belonging to her fans, adding:
