Time to crack open some festive Bud Lights!
Controversial transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney has been honored by UK gay magazine “Attitude” as its first “Woman of the Year”.
The 26-year-old self-styled “trans beer girl” — after the uproar sparked by her paid partnership with Bud Light — appeared in a fluffy white off-the-shoulder dress and braided hair crown on the pink cover of the magazine’s awards issue.
The TikToker also took to the stage on Wednesday to accept her award at the magazine’s ceremony, wearing two outfits of the night, including a sheer embellished crop top and an almost see-through black dress.
“Some see me as the best woman – some see me as the woman of the year and some have changed,” she quipped, noting that she “only appeared publicly online 560 days ago.”
“And some people don’t see me as a woman at all,” she said of her haters.
“No matter how hard I try, or what I wear, or what I say, or what surgeries I have, I will never achieve a version of womanhood that is acceptable to those hateful people’s standards,” she said.

“But as long as the queer community sees me for who I am, I’ll be fine.”
The content creator also briefly mentioned his exploding Bud Light campaign, which sparked a massive boycott of the beer company that lost tens of millions in the fallout.
Mulvaney said London became his “safe space” while traveling to avoid scandal back home, saying he “didn’t feel the baggage he brought back to the US.”

“I don’t feel like a trans beer girl,” said the TikToker, who became popular for her Days of Girlhood series.
“I don’t walk into a room and wonder: ‘Oh, does that person hate me?’ I’m just a girl walking around in a Burberry trench coat on my way to a West End musical.”
Mulvaney said that the previous year “felt like an episode of “Black Mirror”, referring to the surreal Netflix show – something shared by critics who were surprised by the new honor.

“Hard to believe. Dylan Mulvaney wins ‘WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD,’” right-wing commentator Candance Owens podcast account said while sharing a clip of Mulvaney’s acceptance speech, which others called “surreal.”
“This is not satire,” said some critics, as another asked: “How does this real woman feel?”
