Trevor Kennison, a sit skier, is dating Kelly Lawson, and both have similar hobbies and careers. They never fail to share their great experiences together in the snow and while traveling. He claimed that from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., he lay in the snow before search and rescue teams could pull him out of the forest. Despite being paralyzed from the waist down, Trevor continued his love of skiing, returning to the mountains on sit skis. Trevor is also a great athlete, having done his first backflip as a sit skier.
Trevor has turned his life around as a public figure, trying to teach the world what it’s like to be paralyzed and that it’s normal. In addition to being active on social media, he is now involved with the non-profit adaptive sports foundation High Fives, Darn Tough Vermont, and several other groups to spread this message. Trevor Kennison and Barry Corbet teamed up to make a documentary about their struggles after a catastrophic spinal cord injury 50 years apart.
