The mother of Tristan Thompson’s baby, Maralee Nichols, has denied baseless allegations of a “one night stand” with the NBA star, vehemently denying the allegations on Instagram.
After welcoming their son in December 2021, paternity lawsuits ensued, with Thompson finally admitting paternity a month later and apologizing for his actions.

Nichols, who shares a two-year-old son, Theo, with Thompson, responded to a deleted comment on her recent Instagram post accusing her of having a “one night stand” with the NBA star.
He vehemently denied the allegations: “I’m definitely not a one-night stand. That’s a false and slanderous statement you made about me.”
The “one night stand” comment was made under a post where the media personality shared a series of photos and clips showcasing her in a stunning backless gold gown and open heels. In the caption, she wrote, “December is my favorite month. Season of Sagittarius and Christmas.”

After the birth of their son Theo in December 2021, Nichols found himself in a paternity legal battle against Thompson, whom he had sued for child support.
In January 2022, Thompson publicly acknowledged his father Theo and issued an apology for his actions while admitting to cheating on his girlfriend, Khloe Kardashian.
The pro basketball player expressed remorse on his Instagram Story, writing: “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I hope to raise our child well. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed along the way this test, both publicly and privately.”
He continued: “Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the hurt and humiliation I put you through. You don’t deserve the way I treated you all this time. My actions are definitely not in line with the way I view you.”
Before his apology, Nichols, in an interview with E! news, revealed that Thompson misrepresented his relationship status with Kardashian. “He told me he was single and a co-parent,” she said. “I would never have been involved with Tristan if I thought he was in a relationship.” She also claims Thompson offered her $75,000 to keep quiet about their child.

The mother-of-one captioned the image with “Theo’s 2nd birthday” and a balloon emoji. Interestingly, Thompson has made no public acknowledgment of Theo’s birthday. However, in July, Thompson publicly wished his son Tatum, whom he shares with Kardashian, a happy birthday on social media, referring to him as his “future king.”

“Tristan has not paid child support for a long time and has stopped paying Prince’s school tuition,” she claimed, adding that she “hasn’t even asked where Prince is in school now.”
The disgruntled aunt went on to state, per Daily Mail, “After all, raising for your child is not only about money but about time spent. [Tristan] you are NOT a good father if you cannot be a good father to ALL of your children.”
