Donald Trump kicked off Super Bowl Sunday by slamming Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift in a social media rant — branding the Kansas City Chiefs star a “liberal” and his singer-songwriter girlfriend “unfaithful.”
Trump took credit for Swift’s success on her ongoing Eras tour and her recent “Album of the Year” Grammy win — claiming he, the former president, is actually “the guy who made her a lot of money.”
“I signed and am responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Music Artists,” Trump said on Truth Social. “Joe Biden did nothing for Taylor, and never will.”
The Music Modernization Act, which was passed in 2018 modernized copyright laws to give artists more protection in the era of digital music distribution.
“There is no way he can support Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in our Nation’s History, and be disloyal to the man who made him a lot of money,” Trump continued.

“Also, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he might be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”
Swift, who is supporting President Biden in the 2020 election, has gone viral over her latest relationship with Kelce, the Chiefs tight end who will be playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday afternoon.
“Keep dreaming, Donnie,” the “Dark Brandon” X account, dedicated to supporting President Biden posted alongside a photo highlighting Swift’s support for the 81-year-old.
The pop music lover has also weathered a string of bizarre conspiracy theories including one from a social media user who claimed that “the Pentagon’s psyop unit raised NATO to make Taylor Swift an asset, for fighting online misinformation” and bringing down Trump.
Given his exuberance and great popularity, some MAGA stalwarts fear that he could pose a serious threat to the 45th president’s re-election prospects.
Many mainstream Republicans have rejected conspiracy theories.

“I want the 49ers to win so we know — we can get rid of this conspiracy theory about Taylor Swift. Never in my life have I been driven by anything other than football,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) told CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.
Swift has not publicly revealed whether or not she intends to endorse a candidate before the November 5 presidential election.
Super Bowl LVIII will begin on Sunday afternoon with a showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
