Trump moans about ‘wonderful, beautiful’ daughter Ivanka having to testify against him as she arrives in court

Former President Donald Trump whined Wednesday about his “beautiful, beautiful daughter” Ivanka being forced to testify in the $250 million fraud case against him — after she failed in her bid to avoid the witness stand.

The former first daughter’s testimony will complete the questioning of members of the Trump family — which began with Don Jr. and Eric last week and former president on Monday.

Ivanka’s questioning by the New York Attorney General’s Office — which is prosecuting the case — is expected to last from about 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Trump team’s cross-examination of her could last until Thursday morning.

Ivanka, 41, tried not to appear for the Manhattan Supreme Court hearing but Judge Arthur Engoron – and later the appeals court – rejected the request.

In a Truth Social post just after midnight, the former president said his “beautiful, beautiful daughter” was called by “Letitia Peekaboo James, New York’s Corrupt and Racist Attorney General, who has allowed Murder and Violent Crime in New York to flourish.”

He also once again went after Ergoron, calling him an “out-of-control Clubhouse-appointed Judge”, Arthur Engoron, “who “cruelly ruled against me before the trial even started.”

“Now they are trying to bring Ivanka into the case, even though the Court of Appeal ruled that she cannot be prosecuted. Sad!”

Ivanka, a businesswoman and mother of three, was previously a co-defendant with her family but was dismissed from the case in June by an appeals court that found the allegations against her were beyond the statute of limitations.

Ivanka Bennet Moskowitz’s lawyer argued last month that she has not lived in New York or worked there since 2017.

Trump’s attorney Christopher Kise noted that his appearance in court would create another “circus day” in the trial that the Attorney General’s office allegedly orchestrated to draw more media into the courtroom.

But AG Kevin Wallace’s attorney argued that Ivanka is “still heavily involved” in the Trump Org even though she has not been an executive with the company since 2017.

“Ms. Trump has clearly taken advantage of her privilege to conduct business in New York,” the judge said.

“I want to see him in person. That’s how we choose the testimony,” Engoron said.

Ivanka will be the last witness to be called by the Attorney General’s office.

Once he concludes his testimony, the Trump side will begin its case.

The roughly four hours Trump was on the stand Monday were marked by several battles between him and his attorney and Engoron.

The real estate tycoon gave lengthy answers to yes-or-no questions, according to the judge who asked more than once for Trump to stop making “speech” from the stand.

During one such long-winded response from Trump, he shouted and pointed at the judge who accused Engoron of committing fraud on him and called the AG a “political hack.”

Trump’s lawyers said Monday that they plan to call Don Jr. and Eric as part of their case, because they did not cross-examine Trump’s two older sons when they were called by the Attorney General’s office.

It is unclear whether Trump or his daughter will be recalled by his attorney.

Lawyers said they would likely be done with their case on December 15.
