Trump rips ‘mental midget’ Robert De Niro: ‘He has become a total loser’

You talking about me? You talking about me?

Former President Donald Trump is furious with Robert De Niro after the Oscar-winning actor used an awards speech last month to bash the Republican presidential candidate.

On Sunday evening, the 77-year-old Trump mocked the 80-year-old thespian, “whose acting talent has diminished significantly,” for using “a teleprompter for his foul, disgusting language, so disrespectful to our Country.

“He has become invisible,” added the former president on Truth Social, adding that De Niro “should focus on his life, which is a mess, and not on the lives of others. He has become a loser, as the World watches, wait, and laugh!”

Trump then returned for more Monday morning, writing: “Robert De Niro is a ‘mental dwarf’ whose mind is shot, and his life is a train wreck. Just like Crooked Joe Biden, he can’t string two sentences together. The good news is that this rude and very stupid ‘animal’ has lost all credibility!”

De Niro, who won Academy Awards for his roles in “The Godfather Part II” and “Raging Bull,” tore into Trump at the Nov. 27 Gotham Awards after accusing organizers of editing his speech to cut remarks trashing the 45th president.

“The beginning of my speech was edited, cut, I don’t know about it. And I want to read it,” De Niro said before pulling out his phone and reading his prepared speech for transmission.

“History isn’t history anymore,” De Niro lamented. “The truth is not the truth. Even facts are replaced with alternative facts and fueled by conspiracy theories and infamy.”

“The lie has become another tool in the con man’s arsenal,” De Niro continued. “The former president lied to us more than 30,000 times during his four years in office, and he’s keeping pace in his revenge campaign now. But with all his lies, he couldn’t hide his soul.”

De Niro, who has long been a staunch critic of Trump, continued to take aim at the former president, saying he “attacks the weak, destroys nature’s gifts, and shows disrespect, for example, by using ‘Pocahontas’ as a slur.”

The actor made a habit of criticizing Trump during the former president’s first term.

During the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards, the star blasted Trump for his “abuse of power.”

“There is right and there is wrong. And there’s common sense and there’s abuse of power,” De Niro said at the time. “And as a citizen, I have the same right as anyone – an actor, an athlete, a musician, anyone – to voice my opinion. And if I have a bigger voice because of my condition, I will use it when I see an abuse of power frankly. And that’s all I’ll say about tonight.”
