Former President Donald Trump blasted a Manhattan judge’s ruling against him as “appalling” and “un-American” in a series of social media posts after he was found guilty of fraud, resulting in the revocation of his New York business license.
“The rampant attacks on me, my family, and my supporters have descended to new un-American depths, at the hands of the LOST New York State Judge, doing the bidding of the biased and corrupt “Attorney General”, Letitia James,” Trump, 77 , slammed his Truth Social platform after the decision.
“This is Democratic Political Law, and a Witch Hunt on a scale never seen before. It is an attempt to injure the Leader of the opposing Party, so far, the Political Candidate,” he said angrily.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron found Trump, his family and his business, the Trump Organization, committed fraud by overstating his wealth on business documents over the years to get sweet deals from banks — a claim first made by New York Attorney General Letitia James in the year of his lawsuit against the defendant.

“Nothing like this has ever happened in our country before. My Civil Rights have been violated, and some Court of Appeals, either Federal or State, must reverse this horrible and un-American decision. If they can do this to me, they can do this to YOU!” Trump added.
In a 35-page ruling, Engoron sided with James, who alleged that Trump made several undisputed false statements in order to secure a lucrative loan.
The judge revoked the “certificate of business” of Trump Organizations New York and any other New York-based businesses operated by Trump or his family. An independent third party will be assigned to “manage the dissolution of the dissolved LLC,” according to the decision.
Trump’s attempt to have the court dismiss James’ fraud and other claims was also denied by Engoron. The former president claimed that Engogron refused to allow the case to be transferred to the “commercial division” of the state court where he said it belonged.

He also complained that the decision was made without a trial by jury.
“[The Trump Organization] is a great company that has been defamed and defamed by this politically motivated Witch Hunt,” Trump said in a separate Truth Social post.
Trump and members of his family appeared deeply upset by the judge’s valuation of Mar-A-Lago, his sprawling Florida estate, which was estimated to be worth $18 million. He said the property was probably worth “almost 100 times that amount.”
Eric Trump, the former president’s son, said that Mar-A-Lago may be “the most valuable residential property in the country.”
“In an attempt to destroy my father and kick him out of New York, a Judge just ruled that Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach Florida, is only worth about “$18 Million dollars”…” he tweeted. “Mar-a-Lago is speculated to be worth it [sic] over a billion dollars making it arguably the most valuable residential property in the country. It’s all very corrupt and coordinated.”

“If Mar-a-Lago is worth $18 million… I’ll take 10!!!” Eric’s brother Donald Trump Jr. tweeted.
“The real estate community in Florida is laughing at this stupidity,” Eric Trump replied. He also shared several listings for nearby properties for well over $18 million.
“If my father had tried to claim the property was worth $18 million, he would probably have been sued for trying to underpay his property taxes!” Donald Trump Jr. wrote in another tweet. “They have set up the game so it’s always lose/lose in this blue state. If you don’t conform to their narrative, they will target you.”
“I AM WORTH MORE THAN THE NUMBER SHOWN ON MY FINANCIAL STATEMENT,” Trump shouted on Truth Social.
The judge’s ruling means Trump could be stripped of control over several properties in his name — including Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.
The 45th president plans to appeal the decision, his lawyer said.
A non-jury trial is set to begin Oct. 2 for Engoron to hear arguments on other claims in the suit, before ruling on those claims.
James’ office previously claimed that the former president, the Trump Organization, and Eric and Donald Trump Jr. overestimates its assets by $3.6 billion a year.
