Former President Donald Trump will skip the third Republican presidential debate in November, despite being nicknamed “Donald Duck” for skipping the previous two, The Post has confirmed.
Trump will again fail to appear on stage with his GOP rival for a debate in Miami on Nov. 8, a day after several states hold their primaries, sources confirmed to The Post.
The decision came after his rivals blasted the 77-year-old at the second GOP debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California Wednesday night, with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie calling Trump “Donald Duck” and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis calling him out for “losing in action.”
The former president chose not to attend the debate, and instead rallied in Michigan.
DeSantis then challenged Trump to a one-on-one debate.
“You know, maybe we can say since the former president isn’t coming here, maybe he’ll be willing to do it with you and me,” DeSantis told Fox News’ Sean Hannity after Wednesday night’s second GOP primary debate.

But the former president has repeatedly said he will not attend the debate, as he maintains a huge lead over his rivals.
“These are the people who are nibbling on the front lines, they’re not close,” adviser Chris LaCivita said in an interview with CBS News after Wednesday’s debate.
“In fact, if you take the combined votes of every candidate on stage tonight and put them up against Donald Trump, they would lose by 20 points,” he claimed.

“So I mean, this guy isn’t worth our time.”
When asked about the jabs made by the seven contenders in the second debate, LaCivita responded, “I don’t think there’s anybody who wouldn’t say that Donald Trump didn’t push.
“But again, at the same time, when you look at the combined voting weight against the president, they’re going to be trading numbers among themselves — they’re not going to the presidential polls in Iowa.

“Republican primary voters made a decision, and their decision was Donald Trump,” he added. “That’s what they want, so everything else is a sideshow.”
LaCivita previously issued a statement saying the Republican National Convention should end the debate before Wednesday’s event ends.
He complained that the debate was “as boring and unimportant as the first” and said “nothing said will change the dynamics of a primary contest dominated by President Trump.

“The RNC should immediately end any further primary debates so we can train our attack on Crooked Joe Biden and stop wasting time and money that will likely drive Biden from the White House,” he said.
The former president topped a recent New Hampshire statewide poll, with 39% of the vote. He also maintained his lead over DeSantis among GOP voters by a margin of 62% to 12%.
And in a matchup between Trump and Democratic President Joe Biden, the former president won 52% to 42% — up significantly from Trump’s 49% to 43% lead during a similar poll from the outlet in May.
