The Try Guys have had a week of ‘trying’.
Last week, Try Guys member Ned Fulmer confirmed allegations of infidelity in his marriage.
Fulmer, 35, has been married to his wife Ariel for a decade, and the couple has largely built their internet presence around creating content related to their marriage.
According to our report on the incident, Fulmer was filmed kissing Try Guys producer Alex Herring in New York.
Rather than sweep Fulmer’s actions under the rug, Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger, and Zach Kornfeld decided to acknowledge them and take a step forward, choosing to sever their professional working relationship with Fulmer.
The remaining members of The Try Guys are now looking to start a new chapter in their careers.
The trio released a five-and-a-half-minute video yesterday on their YouTube channel, in which they directly addressed the incident and provided more insight into their decision to no longer work with Fulmer.
The Try Guys are there is currently posting on Twitter since the video was released. Yang and Kornfeld have also posted new Instagram photos since the news broke. Earlier today, Kornfeld posted a selfie on Instagram in which she subtly addressed the situation.
The Blast has also shared news of the team’s decision to remove Ned Fulmer from future content and merchandise, which the team has revealed they are proud to have made. The Try Guys have also temporarily stopped production.
Read on to find out what Kornfeld wrote in the caption of the photo.
In the Shocking Incident of the Cuban Man
The Try Guys revealed Fulmer’s departure on their social media accounts on September 27.
“Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys,” the message began, “As a result of a thorough internal review, we do not see a way forward together. We appreciate your support as we navigate these changes.”
Fulmer went on to repost the message on his Instagram Story.
What Did Fulmer’s Response to the Incident Say?
Fulmer soon publicly addressed the allegations in his own statement.
“Family should always be my number one priority,” the text began, “but I lost focus and had a relationship at work that was likeable. I’m sorry for any pain my actions may have caused the men and fans but most importantly to Ariel,” he said. “The only thing that’s important right now is my marriage and my kids, and that’s where I’m going to focus my attention.”
Ariel also publicly acknowledged her husband’s actions on Instagram.
“Thank you to everyone who has contacted me- it means a lot,” Ariel wrote, “Nothing is more important to me than Ned and our family, and all we ask now is that you respect our privacy for the sake of our children. .”
According to one of our recent coverage around Fulmer, a photo of the couple recently surfaced, which shows the couple still wearing their wedding rings. The photos surfaced courtesy of TMZ.
Zach Kornfeld Gives Subtle Response To Incident On Instagram
The aforementioned Try Guys YouTube video dealing with the situation showcases every Try Guy vulnerable reaction to the incident. In the video, Kornfeld, 32, appears to be affected by the deviance of his friend and former colleague.
He continued to channel his feelings in the caption of his latest Instagram photo posted earlier this evening.
In the photo, Kornfeld wears sunglasses and flashes a peace sign. The caption of the photo simply read “Next.”
The team also embraced the idea of moving forward as a unit. Fulmer’s “heart” has been removed from The Try Guy’s social media bio, according to our reports surrounding Try Guys’ decision to temporarily halt production.
