‘Twilight’ Star Cam Gigandet To Be Evicted From His Home, Allegedly Owes $21,000 In Back Rent

“Twilight” star Cam Gigandet has been hit with a lawsuit over unpaid rent. The actor was sued by the owner of his house for allegedly failing to pay the agreed amount for the past four months.

Both Gigandet and his estranged wife, Dominque Geisendorff, are named in the lawsuit. The owner of the property is suing the couple for unlawful detainer, alleging that they entered into a residential lease for the Los Angeles property, which they now allegedly “breached”.

According to a legal document obtained by ExplosionThe Los Angeles property owner claimed Gigandet and his wife had failed to hold up their end of the bargain by paying the monthly fees they had agreed to pay in their lease.

The suit alleges that on August 25, 2022, Gigandet and Geisendorff signed a written residential lease for the property.

“The lease is for a period of one (1) year and, thereafter, becomes a month-to-month rental. Pursuant to the lease, the tenant’s monthly rental obligation is $6,650.00,” the suit states.

It continued, “[Gigandet and Geisendorff] have breached the lease as they failed to pay the entire rent from November 2023 to February 2024.”

This means the couple owes a total of $21,000 in back rent. Due to their failure to pay the agreed amount, the property owner wants to repossess the house.

The suit further states that Gigandet and Geisendorff have been served notices of the amounts they owe since February 6, 2024, and that both have yet to pay their rent. They also continued to use the house without the owner’s “permission or consent”.

Now, the owner is demanding “for restitution,” “forfeiture of the lease,” and “for daily damages in the amount of $221.67 from March 1, 2024, until the date of judgment.”

It should be noted that Gigandet and Geisendorff are currently in the midst of a divorce. The couple has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
