Arianny Celeste is best known for her time in the UFC as a ring girl; she debuted in 2006 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Paradise, Nevada, and won “2006 Ring Girl of the Year” by Fighter’s Only Magazine.

Although she’s known as a ring girl, she’s also known for standing up for herself and her fellow ring girls on several occasions — once against UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov and once against Ronda Rousey ahead of UFC 184 when Rousey commented on UFC ring girls’ pay, saying she thought ring girls shouldn’t be paid as much as they are.

Arianny Celeste didn’t let Rousey’s comments slide and spoke up, saying. “I will not talk about him because I am not a fighter. I won’t waste my time. I’m not talking about anyone. I’m surprised when someone who doesn’t know me keeps insulting me. And that’s all I saw of him — a big bully.”

Nurmagomedov made similar comments about ring girls, calling them “the most useless people in martial arts,” to which Celeste applauded, “I’ve worked over 15 years in this industry and learned it’s easier to just NOT CARE. For 15 years , we’re more than just ring girls – we’ve dedicated time to promoting the UFC and showing love and time to our die-hard fans through world tours and personal appearances. And even though the world is so different, I can still feel that energy and love every time we perform with the audience.”

Celeste says that 15 years of hard work and dedication have made her “A badass** and rich woman. A real estate investor and owner of not only 1 but 3 homes/properties, one located in LA -which is expensive AF, and a woman who is not afraid to take risks and build for my future.”

He concluded, “You don’t have to like me, but you will respect me.”
