The “Valerie’s Home Cooking” host had a “hidden little bruise,” which recently erupted, which she told her fans in a candid video on Instagram. He appears in good spirits in the clip, laughing at first during the walk before revealing the reason behind his happiness.
Fans could hear Bertinelli’s pants rubbing as he walked, which he noticed made a certain sound. She later revealed that she stopped wearing it because she was told and was “mocked mercilessly” for being “too lazy to do anything about it.” Although the taunt was currently of no importance to him as he left it in his past, the “hidden bruise” was something he would have to deal with when it activated.
Still, she’s “so grateful” that her healing journey is progressing, to the point that it makes her “giggle.” Given the mockery of the past, the “Hot in Cleveland” actress put the pants down and even changed the way she walked in them. This comes after Bertinelli wrapped up his “Dry January” program, which he started for health and emotional clarity. As reported, she stuck to that resolution all month and updated fans via her Stories after completing the trip.
He announced in a video on the last day, “Day 30, I did it!” adding, “I’m happy because physically I feel better. I’m sleeping better.” The “Touched by an Angel” star later revealed that some not-so-good feelings came up, and she chose to feel them instead of usually drowning them with alcohol.
He went on to explain, “Feelings are emotions, and instead of ignoring them and suppressing them, I need to think about what these feelings are telling me.” According to Bertnelli, those emotions told him he wasn’t worthy, and he realized it wasn’t true but other people’s projections of him.
