Career
Vandana started acting in commercials and Gujarati theater while she was studying in college. He describes his journey from acting in dramas to acting in Hindi television serials in an interview. He quoted,
Yes, I always think how these artists do this series. In fact I want to enter. but never had influence or acquaintance. Then one day my artist friend told me about an audition happening in Rashmi Sharma’s production. First I said I wouldn’t go straight there for the audition. if i get an email i will send my bio-data and photo. if they like it they will call and I will go for an audition. The next day another friend suddenly gave me the mail id it was like wow so fast because I didn’t tell anyone about it. Send my bio-data. they called me for an audition. And the journey begins as Urmila Shah.”

He is also known for his work in the television shows Pandya Store (2021), Tera Mera Saath Rahe (2021), and Shubh Shagun (2022). In an interview, she talked about managing her busy schedule and said,
Apart from Shubh Shagun, I am a part of Pandya Store and Tera Mera Saath Rahe. Since I’m doing character roles in this show, I don’t shoot for them. So I can participate in the third performance.”
He further added,
Yes, there were times when it became difficult to work on three shows, but I really enjoyed the process. There were days when I shot for two shows in one day. Travel can be taxing because it is time consuming, but other than that, I have no complaints. I also manage to find time for my family and I cook for them on my days off.”
