Beauty pageant contest
In 2012, Vanya Mishra participated in Dabur Gulabri Miss Rose Glow 2012. After winning several state rounds, she became the winner of the pageant. Dabur Gulabri’s winning the title of Miss Rose Glow 2012 helped her secure a position among the top 20 contestants in Femina Miss India 2012. On 30 March 2012, the World Miss India Pantaloons Femina Final ceremony took place in Mumbai, Maharashtra with a panel of judges including Rohit Shetty, Ekta Kapoor, Sanjeev Bajaj, Sonu Nigam, Harbhajan Singh, and Sakshi Tanwar, where Vanya Mishra was crowned Miss India World 2012. At the Miss India World 2012 pageant, she also won three Maybelline subtitles Most Beautiful eyes, Most Beautiful Skin, and Most Photogenic.
Later, Vanya Mishra represented India at the Queen of the World 2012 pageant held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. Vanya competed with 120 global winners to win the title. She was one of the top scorers in the finals and won two quick challenges, Beauty with a Purpose and Social Multimedia. She was among the top 7 contestants in the Miss World 2012 pageant.
Corporate World
Soon after completing his studies in 2014, Vanya Mishra, along with his close friend, Apaksh Gupta, started working on his startup idea. Startup SummerLabel is a digital fashion and lifestyle store that provides thousands of private labels to showcase their products. He continued to be an entrepreneur until 2017.
