In 2013, Varun started his acting career with a TV commercial. Some of his popular TV commercials are for brands like Horlicks, Amazon, Tiger Krunch Biscuits, Flipkart and Classmate.

In 2016, Varun appeared in Sony’s TV show Crime Patrol (2016) Season 4. He played the character “Vicky Kambli” in Season 4, episode 659 of the show.
He appeared in other TV series such as Star Plus show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai (2017) and Siddhi Vinayak’s & TV show (2017-2019).
Movie
He made his debut in the Hindi film industry with the film Baazaar (2018). He played the role of “Young Shakun Kothari” in the film.
