Vasishta N. Simha was born on Wednesday, 19 October 1988 (age 33 years; in 2021) in Mysore, Karnataka, India. He attended Sharada Vilas Education Institute, Mysore for primary school and Sadvidya School, Mysore for his secondary education. Vasishta N. Simha was interested in acting and directing since childhood. During his college days, he directed his first play. Speaking about the same, he narrated,
I directed a play in my college days, I even won an award for it. All this is very encouraging to me. I used to make frequent visits to theaters in Bangalore and that drew me more towards cinema. I started acting in theater plays. I have acted in half a dozen plays. I left my work and put my 100 percent focus on drama. That’s where my cinematic journey began.”
In 2013, she made her debut in the Kannada romantic film ‘Aryas Love,’ directed by Puneeth Arya. In the same year, he appeared in the comedy drama film Raja Huli, playing the role of Jagga. Vasishta N. Simha stars Yash, Meghana Raj, Moni, Chikkanna, and Charan Raj in the film directed by Guru Deshpande. In 2022, Vasishta N. Simha announced she was a part of KGF: Chapter 2, the second part of the sequel to the 2018 film KGF: Chapter 1. The film featured Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Vasishta N. Simha, and Prakash Raj . The story of the film is based on After defeating Garuda, Rocky, whose name scares his opponents, becomes an inspiration to struggling individuals in KGF by helping and fighting for them. Rocky is respected by his allies as their savior. Now he must face his greatest enemy, Adheera, and learn more about her background. The film is announced to be released on 14 April 2022. He will play a character named Kamal in this sequel.

Vasishta N. Simha made her singing debut with the song ‘Neecha Sullu Sutho Naalige’ in the Rishab Shetty directed Kannada romantic comedy film ‘Kirik Party,’ released in 2016. Next, she appeared with her second song in the film ‘Dayavittu Gamanisi’ with the song unplug titled Marete Hodenu. In 2018, he sang another song for the sequel of the film Kirrak Party, Neechamaina.
