Veena Jamkar was born on 10 July 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He did his bachelor’s degree in Arts from DG Ruparel College, Mumbai. Since childhood, he was very interested in acting therefore, during his college days, he used to participate in various theater plays and skits. After completing his studies, the actor joined the theater professionally and started appearing in auditions for films.

Career
After completing her studies, Veena joined theater professionally and started appearing in auditions for films. All his efforts and struggles paid off when he got an opportunity to appear in the Marathi film Bebhaan Valu as Tani. The film won the title of Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2008. After the huge success of this film, Veena emerged as one of the best and elegant actresses in the Marathi film industry.
Veena also appeared in the award-winning short film Kharvas which was later selected for the Cannes film festival in 2018.
