He is the maternal grandchild of veteran politician, Sushilkumar Shinde, who is also the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and former Union Home Minister. Veer is also the ex-boyfriend of actress Sara Ali Khan.

Career
He started his career by working at the Indian joint venture operation between Viacom and TV18, Viacom 18. He had a keen interest in musical instruments and started his music career by producing music for commercials. Later, he produced music for films and web shows. He has also worked with Academy Award winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty. In 2018, he founded his own entertainment and gaming company with his brother Shikhar named “Indiawyn.”
