A prime example is the candle. In the document, David talks about the literal obsessive way he takes care of his candles. “I clip a candle; I cleaned the glass; that’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of the candle… I know, it’s weird.”
And the kitchen, well, Victoria was lucky, she didn’t have to do the dishes as long as she lasted until bedtime. David refused to sleep with the words in the sink. “I don’t like coming down in the morning, and there are cups and plates and, you know, bowls. It’s tiring every time the candle cleans it.”
