Video shows start of fight on plane that saw obnoxious passenger booted after getting ‘ass-whooping’

Wild video captures a brawl between two airline passengers that saw a brutal Australian man slammed to the floor by an American — then thrown from a plane in the Philippines with blood all over his face.

The dramatic interaction happened after the 44-year-old Australian man from Mareeba transferred in Singapore to a Scoot flight bound for Manila.

A video shared online showed the rowdy Australian — who had a bag on his back and has already been accused of insulting passengers and demanding drinks — standing in the aisle and asking other passengers why he was filming it.

“I’ll record a donkey kook in a minute,” replied another passenger, who later said he was from Las Vegas.

At that point, the abusive Australian began taunting the man recording him, repeating what he said in a sarcastic and exaggerated accent — even as another passenger told him to “bounce,” warning: “I’ll definitely knock you down.”

The abusive passenger, in a white T-shirt and hat, then called the other man foul names while challenging him to a “one on one.”

After a seated passenger told the man to “hit me” several times, the man in the aisle quickly slapped him in the face as the audience gasped. Rough footage from another passenger also clearly shows the man in the white T-shirt throwing the first one.

The video then cuts to an apparently dazed Australian man sitting on the floor in a hallway with a shoe in his hand – and blood all over his face.

“I told you I was going to lash out,” another passenger taunted him, along with other curse words aimed at the battered passenger, who smiled through obvious embarrassment.

“I’m from Vegas,” the American brags as he turns the camera around to show how he’s still calmly in his seat, seemingly unhurt.

“Why did he make me do this to him?” he asked.

The footage then showed police officers escorting the stricken Australian off the plane as other passengers clapped and cheered – and the man facing her smiled and asked her to kiss him.

The video also appears to show someone on the flight telling the man filming the incident that he was “wrong” for causing the chaos.

Some online questioned why the two men weren’t kicked off the flight, as the man behind the camera seemed to be encouraging the other’s behavior. However, others noted that the Australian was a troublemaker and belligerent.

Someone who was on both flights with the Australian told the West Australian His press has caused a stir in Singapore travel.

According to the passenger, he was verbally abused for “hours” on the flight to Manila.

“He was loud and rowdy, so we moved seats,” he told the newspaper.

The videotaped confrontation happened as the flight landed as the Australian went to confront the other man for filming it.

“The Australian slapped him really hard and then it all started,” the witness said.

This passenger then moved into the aisle and the pair wrestled as other passengers watched with bated breath.

“As soon as he fell, some other men kicked him to the ground,” the witness said.

“The flight attendants feel stressed. Some men and flight attendants tied his hands and feet with zips and they waited for the police to come,” the witness added.

As the Australian was led away, he was heard saying in one video clip, “Take me over there for one-on-one.”

It is not known if the man faces any charges in the Philippines.
