Career
Vidhya started her acting career in the Malayalam film Vacation where she played a guest role of Sudha in 2005. After that, she made her debut in the Tamil film industry and landed a lead role in the film Dhandayuthapani where she appeared as Thenmozhi opposite S. Suresh Raja. The story revolves around a man who is unemployed and lives with his mother and siblings in Madurai. On her way home, she bumps into college student Thenmozhi and falls in love with him.
Later, in 2013 Vidhya tried her hand in the Tamil TV series Valli as Valli Vikram. In the serial she played dual roles as Valli Vikram and Vennila Anand aired on Sun TV channel.
Vidhya made headlines for acting as Meena in the serial Abhiyum Naanum with Riya Manoj.
