He added that the only way for the company to fully benefit from the opportunity is for him to return and assist the management team during negotiations for their media rights alongside the evaluation of strategic alternatives.

McMahon stated this return would foster an easier engagement between WWE and any parties to the transaction as they would realize the support of the controlling shareholders.

He also expressed his interest in working collaboratively with the “Board and management team,” especially Wilson and Barrios.
