In 2007, Vinesh started working as a project manager at a company called Screaming Sports. In 2008, he joined Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as a wealth management intern. He worked as a board treasurer at the Leader 4 Life company for more than a year. In 2009, he was appointed as a credit manager at Wells Fargo. He worked as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank in London for a year. In 2011, he joined the sales team at Kyriba Corporation and worked until December 2012. In January 2013, he started working in the sales department at a company called Tufin, where he worked for 2 years. He worked at Reval, a software development company, as a regional sales director from 2014 to 2015. Indian Matchmaker Season 2
In 2022, he appeared on the show “Indian Matchmaking” season 2 where matchmaker Sima Taparia introduced him to two girls. First, he meets Mosum Parikh, a 30-year-old Gujarati girl from Brooklyn with a degree in finance. Vinesh and his family decide to meet Mosum, and after having similar thoughts about their parents’ relationship, career and family, they approve Vinesh and Mosum to go out on a date with his brother and sister-in-law. By the end of the date, Mosum feels connected to him and wants to move the conversation forward, but Vignesh doesn’t feel the same way. Although, at the end of the date, he took her number, he told his family that he was not physically attracted to her. He was also slammed on social media for his rude and judgmental behavior.

The second girl he met was Meena Rai, a nurse. Vinesh felt a connection with her from the beginning, but she showed no interest in him and did not want to be in a relationship with him. In an interview, when she was asked why she decided to appear in the second season of Indian Matchmaking, she replied,
I’ve tried many apps, met girls at bars, etc. and everything I did in the past did not give me long-term success. I saw the show and was quite intrigued – given Sima Aunty’s track record, I thought it would be beneficial to give it a try and consider it a life-changing adventure. I am single and open to trying new things to find the one – my goal is to find a wife and possibly start a family if she is open to it. I have also challenged myself to take on new experiences and if something seems interesting and new but a little scary, if I have the ability, I want to say yes.”
When he was asked about the kind of experience he had on the show and if he would like to return to the show next season, he replied,
It rocks. Obviously something I’ve never done before. But it was an amazing experience. I don’t know if I’ll go back – I have to talk to my family and think about it. Making a very personal trip like this “open to the public eye” is a bit scary. But it’s been incredible working with everyone from this show – definitely making lifelong friendships (although that’s not what I was looking for). I promised myself that I would be as genuine as possible, but a lot of nervousness can take over and I’m a little camera shy. I think I laugh a lot on the show which is part of my personality, but it’s more than usual and a lot of it is trying to get rid of anxiety. I say “like” a lot, which must mean I’m not as comfortable as I want to be… (LOVE) there’s a big camera in my face! It’s hard to hear myself on a zoom call, much less WATCH and hear myself on TV. So maybe I calm myself down more with my meditation practice before going up in the air.”
