Viraj Ghelani was born in 1993 (age 30; in 2023) in South Borivali, Mumbai, Maharashtra. After completing class 10, he studied at Abhinav Hi-Tech College of Engineering, Mumbai. He then enrolled himself in a college in Mumbai, but he did not like the environment of the college and dropped out within a year of joining it. After that, he pursued a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Mumbai. While she was studying at Thakur College of Science and Commerce, she performed in comic acting where she portrayed the role of former Bigg Boss contestant Dolly Bindra. His performance was well received by the audience, and from there, he developed an interest in acting. He later organized various events in his college and performed in various plays.

After that, he enrolled at NMIMS, Mumbai, to pursue higher education. However, he soon realized that he was not meant for engineering, so he dropped out of college. He then gave several auditions to make his career in the entertainment industry, but he was rejected. He then started making videos on his Snapchat account that went viral. Later, online portal BuzzFeed published an article ‘Top 20 Indians on Snapchat You Should Follow’ in which Viraj’s name was also listed. Gradually, he began to gain popularity. After that, he sent his portfolio to digital platforms such as TVF and FilterCopy.

Corporate Jobs
Early in his career, he did some corporate work in HR and sales. Viraj then got a job as a Snapchat video manager at digital entertainment company FilterCopy with a salary of Rs 16000-17000 per month. After that, Viraj started working as a content writer with FilterCopy. He has also worked as a content creator for FilterCopy’s sister companies Dice Media and Gobble and Indian media company Pocket Aces Pictures Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.
