Vanderpump Rules’ Resident DJ James Kennedy is delighted to have Graham back in life. But he quickly shed the toxic name attached to it.
Meet the Hippie!

Kennedy recently shared with his followers that he was reunited with the dog he adopted with his ex-girlfriend, Leviss. At first, Leviss made it clear that he wanted Kennedy away from him and the dog for him to process the breakup.
This meant he hadn’t seen Graham in months. Now that the boys are back together, Kennedy sees fit to christen him with a new name. “Hippies!” she wrote with a red heart emoji. The reality star shared a new photo of the cute dog holding his head up high!
“We have decided to rename this little beauty “hippie” in honor of my late godfather, the dog’s name is George Michael,” explained Kennedy, a dog with whom he has a special relationship. “The only dog I saw around the house growing up, although George and the hippie are now in heaven together, I know they are watching over me now, proud dog papa!”
How James Kennedy Got His Dog Back

The details surrounding the story are a little fuzzy but apparently, Hippie was surrendered to the shelter a few weeks ago after allegedly biting Leviss’ mother “to the bone”.
Apparently, Lisa Vanderpump found out about this and stepped in to take Hippie from the shelter. Fans will remember that Leviss and Kennedy adopted the dog from one of Vanderpump’s shelters in 2018.
Since Leviss has been in a mental health facility for the past few months to deal with the effects of Scandoaval, fans have been asking where the puppy officially became known as Graham. Turns out, instead of just letting Kennedy have the dog, he let his parents take care of the dog, which led to the surrender at the shelter.
James Kennedy Has Given Up

When musicians appear on Watch What Happens Live earlier this year, host Andy Cohen, like many, was curious about her relationship since the cheating news broke and it seemed as if she had given up on seeing the dog again.
He says Hippie is “deep [his] then.” When the dog found its way back to Kennedy and his new girlfriend Ally Lewber, he took to IG to share the exciting news with his followers. “Look who came home, come back into my life, I will take care of you forever and I love you. ❤️”
In the attached photo, Kennedy is cradling Hippie’s little head in his hands and giving it a kiss. For the record, the dog looks happy! In another photo, he stands by Lewber and Kennedy’s side
Mother Rachel Leviss Feels Threatened

The former beauty pageant’s mother shared her horrifying story of being bitten by then-named Graham. Laura Leviss tells Entertainment Tonight: “While taking care of him, [Graham] bit me to the bone, causing severe damage,” she also allegedly bit her husband and “some [other] people.”
She admitted surrendering him to California Doodle Rescue on July 13 where he surrendered her back in May. Meanwhile, Rachel left the mental health facility where she was staying earlier this month and allegedly did not try to adopt Hippie.
