Going into Fantasy Suite week on “The Bachelor,” Zach Shallcrosss decided to make a “no sex” rule because he wanted to focus more on the emotional side of the relationship than the physical in an effort to not let things get messy the week before. potential involvement.
However, things don’t go as planned as Shallcross breaks his own rules, after admitting to sleeping with Gabi Elnicki. Not only did he break his own rules, he then went for a “kiss and tell” as he opened up to host Jesse Palmer and another contestant, Kaity Biggar.
Now, “Bachelor In Paradise” star Wells Adams is slamming Zach Shallcross for the way he handled the situation.

While an episode of “The Bachelor” was airing, Wells Adams took to Instagram to share his thoughts on how everything turned out.
“Well, we’re watching this episode of The Bachelor and Zach is going to tell everybody that, you know, he’s not going to have sex during ‘Sex Week,'” Wells said in his Instagram Story. “And I know why it’s weird. It’s weird because it’s something he doesn’t have to do on camera.”
The 38-year-old continued, “There’s a moment when they close the door and the camera goes away and he can say, ‘Hey, listen, I don’t want to have sex with anybody because I don’t want to. to make things awkward.’ No, it’s awkward because you tell everyone on camera! Good?!”
The head of “The Bachelor” informed the women of the “no sex” rule after they read the Fantasy Suite date card out loud, meaning they knew the rule before the night.
In another Instagram Stories post, Adams’ wife, “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland, can be heard saying, “He told you he didn’t want to have sex with you… how do you think he’s going to react to that?”
Shallcross kept his rules during his first one-night stand with Ariel Frenkel, but ended up breaking them during his second one-night stand with Gabi Elnicki. Not only did Shallcross go and tell host Jesse Palmer about having sex with Elnicki, but he also told one of the other women he was dating, Kaity Biggar.
“Now he’s telling Jesse they had sex. Bro, kiss and tell a lot? You don’t have to tell anyone!” Adams said via Instagram Stories.
Jesse Palmer Speaks Out About Shallcross Rules

“The Bachelor” host Jesse Palmer also spoke about the “no gender” rule set by Shallcross, not entirely agreeing with the rule.
“Zach puts some parameters around the fantasy suite that he thinks will help him make a decision at the end of the day,” he said. “So Zach decided that he wasn’t going to sleep with any of those three women, that he was going to focus on other ways and means of moving his relationship forward, but things didn’t work out that way.”
While the former NFL quarterback understands where Shallcross’s rule is coming from, he admits that “sometimes you can’t put boundaries” on a relationship because they have to “let this relationship grow however it does.”
“When Zach told me he wasn’t going to have sex with any woman, I was like, ‘You’re going to be able to do this? You’re going to be tempted, you know, the fantasy suite is there for a reason.’ And sexual compatibility is a very important thing, especially if you’re going to get down on one knee and ask someone to marry you. Also, what if the woman wants to have sex with you? You’re kind of taking that off the table. That’s probably the most surprising. [moment] because honestly, part of me kind of knew how it was going to end,” Palmer continued to explain.
“Zach, we know very thoughtful. He has a very heavy conscience. So he’s got a lot to navigate these last few weeks, and he’s hoping not to ruin it for himself,” the show’s host added.
