Former talk show host Wendy Williams is optimistic about meeting the next love of her life.
The tv personality has been married twice, to Bertrand “Bert” Girigorie and Kevin Hunter. Her marriage to the latter lasted over two decades, and they shared a son Kelvin Jr. after several miscarriages.
Despite having two failed marriages, Williams shared that she is still interested in finding love and has shared the qualities she hopes her future partner will have.
She was previously in rehab for her alcohol addiction problems and is set to start her own podcast months after her exit from her eponymous show, “The Wendy Williams Show.”

During her appearance on New York City’s WBLS for the Circle of Sisters event, the 58-year-old discussed her personal life, particularly her desire to find love again after her previous marriage fell apart.
“The first thing I see when I look at men is, ‘Are they wearing fingers?’ Because if they wear fingers, then it’s an instant hello, but I would love to… I can’t wait to fall in love, and I don’t want to get married,” revealed the media personality in a video posted. by WBLS, per New York Post.
The former host of “The Wendy Williams Show” also discussed the qualities that her potential partner should have in order for them to be the perfect couple.
“I want her to have children,” he added. “I want him to be somewhere in between, somewhere around my age, you know, maybe 10 years younger than me, and maybe 15 years older than me, you know what I mean?”

Having a large bank account also seems to be one of the things Williams wants in a partner, as she stated that she plans to travel a lot and have special moments with him – all of which require a certain level of wealth.
The former radio DJ said, “And then we’ll be able to do things together, like if we want to suddenly want to fly from New York City, if we want to fly to France, to be there for two days, to have food or whatever. I want to be able to, you know, I can qualify with that guy [said], ‘Come on baby. Let’s do it. Are we flying private, or are we flying public?”
The National Radio Hall of Fame inductee was previously married to Kelvin Hunter for 21 years. They tied the knot on November 30, 1999, and finalized their divorce in January 2020. They welcomed a son, Kelvin Jr. during their marriage.

William’s visit to WBLS was his first public appearance since leaving rehab in October. He had checked into the facility in September to deal with his alcohol addiction.
“It’s getting worse,” the source said, per Page Six. “He switched from wine to straight vodka.”
At the time, Williams also had a falling out with the production company Debmar-Mercury, which ran “The Wendy Williams Show.” According to reports, exhibitors refused to seek help for the 58-year-old woman amid her ordeal.
“They turned their backs on him,” added the source, “They had too much control over someone who was so vulnerable.”
“Debmar will not support Wendy’s recovery efforts with the family,” ex-husband William said in July. “They won’t sign anything that will help his recovery efforts.”
Wendy Williams Exits Her Eponymous Show

Williams has exited “The Wendy Show” after starring as its host for more than a decade. During its broadcast, it ranked as one of the most-watched syndicated talk shows on TV, averaging millions of viewers per day.
It aired its last episode on June 17, 2022, but still has reruns on most TV stations until September 9. “The Wendy Williams Show” was later replaced by “Sherri,” named after its host, Sherri Shepherd, Williams’ former host. show as he goes to deal with his health and personal issues.
