Unfortunately, conflicting reports have emerged about Britney’s status with her family amid news that her husband filed for divorce on August 16, listing their separation date as July 28, 2023. Although some reports say that Britney is “reclusive” and “alone” amid- amid the divorce, others claim that Britney’s family has supported her every step of the way.

On Thursday morning, a source told Page Six that the pop star is still not “on good terms with her family” despite meeting them earlier this summer. “His meeting with his mom, it’s going well, but there’s still a lot of hurt there, so they haven’t quite reconciled,” the source said. “Britney is still very angry with Jamie Lynn too.”
The insider called the “Hold Me Closer” singer “isolated, especially now without Sam,” but went on to say that the pop star is “hanging in there, all things considered.” Another insider claims that Britney actually lied about visiting her sister on the set of “Zoey 102,” though it’s unclear why Britney would make the claim if it wasn’t true.
Later on Thursday evening, a source told TMZ that the pop star was still “estranged” from her family and not speaking to them. A source told the outlet: “He has one confidante, [her manager] Cade [Hudson]. Then there’s his security team, and after that, his support system falls off the cliff.”

On Friday, a source listed her manager Cade Hudson as one of her confidants in a statement to the Daily Mail, but also said her family is also rallying around her.
“He is not alone at all. Britney has her sister Jamie Lynn who is in and out of LA and she also has her mother Lynne, who is expected to arrive this weekend, if she hasn’t already flown in,” the insider said. “He has a support system including his agent and old friends [and manager] Cade [Hudson]his friends which include some of his backup dancers and his girlfriend.”
