Madi Skinner’s career
Madison attended Faith West Academy while growing up in Katy, Texas. He was part of PrepVolleyball’s Top 50 Juniors list while in high school. Furthermore, the high school volleyball team won the Junior Girls National Championship in 2019. The young athlete attended the University of Kentucky for two years. He announced his transfer on Instagram. He said that he was “honored to have had the opportunity to wear the blue for the past two years.”
The outside hitter made sure to thank Kentucky Volleyball, her incredible teammates, and BBN for all their love and support throughout her time with her. He was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-American twice and All-SEC twice during his tenure at Kentucky. The outside hitter recorded a team-high 3.78 kills per set and 282 shooting percent in her final season at Kentucky. Additionally, she averaged 1.21 digs and 0.48 blocks per set.
As a freshman, Skinner played a key role in Kentucky’s national victory. Skinner averaged 3.1 kills per set in the NCAA tournament. Madi also set a season high with 19 kills in the National Championship game against Texas.
