His high school team won their tenth Texas football championship in the 5A Division II finals, with him as the starting quarterback. Nicolosi threw eight touchdown passes with no interceptions in six games, propelling his team to the playoffs. Brayden was among the first to commit to the University of Nevada in 2021, but he later withdrew. Brayden, then a three-star recruit, decommitted after receiving an offer from Colorado State.
In Colorado, the teenager has captivated many with his performance against the University of Colorado. Brayden Fowler Nicolosi was 34-of-47 for 367 yards in just his second career start. He had three touchdowns and three interceptions, and even though the Rams lost the game, Brayden emerged as the new star of this football squad.
