Dylan Disu is from Pflugerville, Texas, where his parents, Michelle and Rodney, raised him and his four siblings. Dylan’s basketball path echoes his mother’s athletic background since Michelle was a basketball player in college. Dylan began his basketball career as a senior at Hendrickson High School, following in his mother’s footsteps.
He showed his ability there, averaging excellent stats and winning the MVP award. Dylan committed to play college basketball for Vanderbilt after receiving offers from numerous other colleges. Dylan had a career-high 29 points and 16 rebounds against Kentucky in February 2021, but his season was cut short by a knee injury.

Dylan’s father, Rodney, works as a Lieutenant with the Austin Independent School District Police Department. He was in the team for 24 years.
