Season 44 of Survivor will debut this week, with 18 new castaways attempting to live in the wildness of the Fiji Islands. Bruce Perrault, a US Naval survivor from Rhode Island, is one of the candidates scheduled to fight in the forthcoming season (as per his Instagram bio).
The competitor, who describes himself as lively and competitive, thinks that even though this is his turn, he will be the only winner on the program because he will “be sociable and depend” on his smart intelligence. Season 44 of Survivor will debut on CBS on March 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
Bruce Perrault, a Survivor season 44 competitor, began his work as a financial adviser for MassMutual.
The former Survivor season 44 competitor is now an account supervisor at Expert Insurance Services in Providence County, Rhode Island. The 46-year-old insurance salesman describes himself as “energetic, humorous, and fierce,” and he wants to be on the CBS program because he thinks the social experiment tears people down only to put them through the challenge of getting back up.
Aside from being a US Navy warrior, the Survivor season 44 competitor is also an entrepreneur and the creator of Bruce Perrault Real Estate, which assists people in purchasing homes and buyers in making the best choices when selling. According to his LinkedIn profile, Bruce did not begin his job in a business. He has been employed since 2007, and his first job was with MassMutual, where he served as a financial adviser for five years. He was in charge of working directly with business proprietors, offering financial services, collecting facts, assessing requirements, and making responsible suggestions during his tenure at the company.
Following that, he worked as a financial adviser for Baystate Financial for a year before becoming a Premium Banker at Santander Bank from 2014 to 2016. Following that, he began working as a senior personal finance agent at Bank Rhode Island. This was followed by his present position as an account supervisor for Expert Insurance Services, which he has held since November 2019.
Bruce has not had an easy life, but he believes that having a difficult upbringing has best equipped him for the television program. In an interview with Parade, he talked about growing up in the foster care system. He claimed he was abandoned and was only discovered by officials after three days.
He went on to say:
“So there was a degree of survival there, even though I didn’t realize it; I was two years old. But growing up in the foster care system gives you a feeling of survival because you never know how long you’ll be with the individual who is there with you.”
The Survivor season 44 competitor also stated that his daughters advised him to enjoy himself while on the program. They told him to enjoy himself no matter what happened. Concerning the program, Bruce stated that he has watched every episode since week three of season one and that, of all past competitors, he most connects with Jeremy Collins because he played a “value-based” game. He went on to say that he has idolized Coach since he was “cool” and “energetic.” The season debut of Survivor season 44 will air on CBS on Wednesday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET.
