Mick Cronin, a Cincinnati native, grew up with his older brother Dan Cronin, who is now a professional handicapper. Dan, like his brother Mick, played college basketball, but he chose to pursue a career in horse racing rather than professional basketball. Mick Cronin is the head coach of the UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team at the University of California.
Beginning his career in 1991, he worked as an assistant coach at Woodward High. Mick held similar roles at the University of Cincinnati from 1996 to 2001 and the University of Louisville from 2001 to 2003.
