The Bachelor returns to ABC on Monday, January 23 at 8pm ET with a new season. Season 27 of the popular dating show will feature 30 women fighting for the love and adoration of Zach Shallcross, who was last seen on The Bachelorette season 19 but failed to win Rachel Recchia’s heart. Holland Parsons of Boca Raton, Florida, is one of the competitors who will try to build a close relationship with Zach and possibly propose to him before the end of the season.

Holland, 24, graduated from Clemson University and is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, according to LinkedIn. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism and Travel Services Management and an FLDFS insurance representative license. In 2019, he trained as Assistant Event Manager at Auberge du Soleil. Parsons also spent a year as the Financial Operations Manager at Keller Williams Realty Boca Raton. He just left a part-time executive assistant position at American Eagle Ventures LLC in December 2022 after nearly three years on the job.
Holland sees herself as a “brave and confident woman” who seeks “unwavering devotion, loyalty, and true individuality” in a relationship. Holland enjoys wine, sushi and sailing with his girlfriend, according to his ABC profile. Her favorite TV show is The Bachelor, and she enjoys practicing Pilates and going to the beach in her native Florida. In addition, the description states:

Zach Shallcross left The Bachelorette season 19 after discovering his bond with Rachel Recchia wasn’t as deep as he imagined. On September 20, 2022, at the end of The Bachelorette, he was named the next lead of the show. He will now try to connect with 30 candidates and, hopefully, propose to one of them in the final after completing several tasks and going on dates with them.
